Begonia 'Partita' - Semi Tuberous Begonia
The ability to grow under dry conditions makes this the perfect plant for indoor culture. An excellent subject for bonsai, this South African species forms a swollen base or caudex. Brought into cultivation in 1961, the small, sharply pointed leaves create a fine, dense appearance, while its white flowers form freely during the longer days of the year. Its growth habit ranges from upright to sprawling.
Hardy to Zone 10 and higher for outdoors.
Full or partial sun, grows to 8-10" in container, minimum temperature 60°, blooms in spring, summer and fall.
