An unbelievably heavy bloomer with an upright stature that is well-adapted to windowsill or the summer container garden. Its 3" soft pink bells, often opening with a touch of salmon, then densely cluster on the tips of upright stems. It performs well as an upright container plant. It also makes a fine standard with its tight internodes and branching habit.

Kendrick Smith I had a very long term mix of being in awe of the selection and major reservation before finally ordering from Logee’s. The most significant inhibiting factor being that the only shippable options are 2.5 - 4 inch pot size plants. Though still a hindrance, I can say this is the absolute best plant of that size that I could have ever dreamed of in a million Sundays. For the first time ever in my collection of over a thousand specimens, I waited 10 days or so before repotting as Logee’s instructions suggested. But Ms. Kristen was so full of enthusiasm that I almost couldn’t wait the 10 days! I am so pleased, impressed, excited, really just tickled to death. Thank You so much Logee’s!! FromLogee The plant arrived in very good condition. This is actually my first flower maple, and it took me a while to find an adequate light and water condition for it. But now it's beginning to bloom very heavily. The example picture on the website here is not an exaggeration, my plant is now covered with flowers and buds. The only thing different is the flower color, mine is more orange than pink, which makes it stand out.
I find the plant rather finicky with water and light. It likes a lot of light and water, but too much actually causes it to drop leaves. I put my plant a foot way from a south facing window in a clay pot with daily watering. This seems to be the sweet spot for it.
